Viktoria Raft

Viktoria has over 20 years’ communications and advocacy experience, with a particular focus on energy, forestry and real estate issues. She has a background as Head of Communications, Chief Press Officer and Senior Public Affairs Advisor. She also worked for several years as a news journalist primarily at the news agencies Direkt and Montel.

Viktoria most recently served as communications director at Sveriges Allmännytta. Prior to that, she held key roles in communications and advocacy at Vattenfall, Stockholm Exergi, and the Center Party, among others. At New Republic, Viktoria is responsible for several major clients and is one of the agency's most sought-after moderators. Viktoria has extensive experience in crisis management and communications from both the business world and politics.

As one of the initiators of Kraftkvinnorna, a network to attract more female leaders to the energy sector, Viktoria has long been involved on a voluntary basis in gender equality issues. She has also been engaged in voluntary political work, holding positions of trust for the Centre Party in Region Stockholm and in Haninge kommun.

Viktoria holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Södertörn University and has studied journalism at Poppius Journalism School and macroeconomics at Stockholm University.
